			Silver Teapot - A Wedding Gift

			The Fire Brigade established a tradition of collecting from colleagues, purchasing a Silver Teapot and presenting it to Firemen on their being married while serving with the Brigade. This one was presented to Fireman Jack Baker and is inscribed "Sub Engineer J. Baker - Sawbridgeworth Fire Brigade - 26th Dec. 1919".

With grateful thanks to Rene Heijlligers in Holland who found and purchased the teapot in an antique market in Holland a few years ago and kindly provided the photograph.
